They spent the day at the Camelback Ranch spring training facility in Phoenix to learn about different work styles in professional ball fields. When community partners get together, great things happen! Please join Tucson Parks and Recreation, Southern Arizona Adaptive Sports, Tucson Golf Program and University of Arizona Adaptive Athletics for an adaptive golf clinic open to all individuals with disabilities.

The clinic is from 9 to 11 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10, at Randolph Dell Urich Golf Course (at the driving range), 600 S. Alvernon Way. Spots are limited; please RSVP by emailing [email protected]

FYI: The tennis courts at Stefan Gollob Park, 395 S. Prudence Road, will be closed for repairs from Monday, November 27, through Dec. 28ish. Upon completion, these courts will have a beautiful new surface for you to play on. Until then, we have tennis courts located at several other parks around the city. Udall Park, 7200 E. Tanque Verde Road, is hosting Parents Morning Out on Black Friday, Nov. 24, from 8 a.m. to noon so you can get some shopping (or whatever you want ) done. The cost is $5 per child (ages 5-12 only), and they will enjoy breakfast, snacks, a holiday-themed craft and games.
