At YCCHS, these professionals play a vital role in understanding and investigating deaths in our community. Here’s a glimpse into their day:

🔍 Scene Investigation: They respond to scenes, write investigative reports, assist with postmortem examinations, and gather crucial evidence to help the medical examiner determine the cause and manner of death.
📑 Collaboration: They work closely with law enforcement, medical personnel, and families to ensure thorough and compassionate investigations.
🧪 Data Collection: From autopsy reports to toxicology, they analyze findings to piece together the story behind every case.
🗂️ Reporting: Gather detailed reports such as medical records, photos, and other reports that help bring closure to families and support public health initiatives.

We thank again our incredible team over at the Medical Examiner's office for their invaluable contributions and unwavering dedication.

The County Community Health Services Connections Center had a friendly visitor to start the last Monday of the year in a great way!

Mary regularly donates to the "community closet" inside the Connections Center to help individuals leaving the Yavapai County Justice Center who may need a little something they might not have come in with, i.e.: gently used clothing/jackets, personal care items, shoes, etc.

A couple of items the community closet could use right now are men's shoes and men's and women's, preferably new, undergarments.

If you have any questions about the Connections Center, you can call (928)318-8011
