Location: Salem, Ohio. You MUST travel to Salem, Ohio to adopt within 72 hours of approval. We do not hold/transport/ship dogs.
Adoption Donation: $200
Fee Includes: Neuter, rabies, dhpp, heartworm & lyme testing, 1st worming, microchip, heartworm/flea prevention while in rescue.

We do not do DNA testing on any of our adoptable dogs. Therefore, breeds noted are simply a guess.
**WHISKEY IS CURRENTLY ~6 MONTHS OLD AND WEIGHS 37LBS**
Let me begin by saying that there has been a TON of talk regarding my breed mixes!! The girls settled on lab/shepherd mix but some have insisted that I have a Doberman look to me as well (without the size :~). Who my birth mom and doggie daddy are will never be known so let's move on to what IS known about me!!
How much fun can a puppy have in 24 hours....come meet me and I'll show you!! My name is Mr Whiskey, the first thing I will tell you is that my zest for life is unmatched! I am ready for some big adventures and would love an awesome family to join along with me. No one really knows my background story, simply that I was a stray. Why no one ever came looking for me is quite the mystery because my charming personality is only outmatched by my good looks!! Let me fill you in on all good stuff about me! As you can see in my pictures, I LOVE playing... playing alone, with humans and especially with other dogs. So, if you have other canines then I'm your guy. NOW, if you and your dog(s) have a couch potato/low energy/12 cheeseburger eatin kind of lifestyle I am NOT the guy for you!! I LOVE activity!! I am looking for a running/ball chasing/exciting lifestyle. I can play fetch with a tennis ball but don't be shocked if I am hesitant to return it lol. You have kids in your home??? That's no problem because I am a most excellent match for kids!!! We share the same energy level so after playing like crazy we can cuddle up on the sofa for some TV time. I have yet to meet a person here that I don't like as y'all seem pretty ok to me. I walk good on a leash, and I am also crate trained! As a puppy, I still have puppy tendencies like picking up sticks, leaves, socks (occasionally some unmentionables :~)), shoes, etc and carrying them proudly around the yard/house. Gotta love those puppy antics lol. This is where all the dedication comes in...my potty habits are a work in progress....I am still a puppy so if you are willing to supply me with the time, patience and consistency required, I'm certain we can work on it together. To recap: I love people, other dogs, kids, car rides, walks, playing, snuggling OH and treats!! My adoption donation is $200 and that goes to the (Friends Of Fido MCDP) so that they in coordination with cthar and other rescues can save more pups from the pound just like me!
