Arms of Hope is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit Christian organization located in Texas was formed by the consolidation of Medina Children’s Home (est. 1958) and Boles Children’s Home (est. 1924). This partnership holds over 135 years of combined experience in caring for the financial, physical and emotional needs of children and single-mother families. Although both organizations were originally created to serve as homes for orphans, Arms of Hope has expanded to serve the growing needs of at-risk children and families. Arms of Hope offers residential and outreach programs for children and single-mother families who are fleeing poverty, homelessness, abuse, neglect and human trafficking. Arms of Hope is committed to assisting and extending a loving hand to some of the most disadvantaged children and single-mother families in our culture by providing shelter, necessities and life skills at their greatest point of need utilizing residential programs on the Medina, Boles and Ducanville Campuses and Family Outreach Centers in Dallas, Denton, Houston and San Antonio. Arms of Hope does not receive federal or state grants. Instead, Arms of Hope relies on caring individuals, businesses, civic groups, churches and foundations for funding and volunteer support.
