We're exactly one month away from Independence Day! Here's the official agenda for the America 250 Celebration at the Kalama Waterfront! The free shuttle service will be available at 11:00 am, with the event starting at 12:00 pm sharp, for the Eagle Dedication Ceremony. Join us for the dedication ceremony, which will include the unveiling of the new sculpture by Kevin Stone metal sculptor, patriotic displays from local organizations, and several speeches from local authorities. Live music, games, and community fireworks on the beach to follow! We hope to see you there🇺🇸

🚧 Driver Alert: Hendrickson Drive Lane Closures (May 20–22) 🚧

Expect delays on Hendrickson Drive starting tomorrow morning through Friday as crews install a temporary lane along the tracks. This work is for the new pedestrian overpass replacement project.

Here's what you need to know:

Lane Closure: The northbound lane will be closed during work hours.

Traffic Control: Flaggers will be on-site directing traffic.

Weekend: All lanes will reopen completely for weekend travel (May 23–24).

Please plan for extra travel time and slow down through the work zone. Thank you for your patience!
