COMING SOON: The District I Office has allocated funding from its service fund to advance another community-initiated request to have speed cushions installed in Santa Rosa in the Reveille Park Place neighborhood. The work is slated to begin mid-march and should be completed by mid-April.

👀Check out the results of a Local Drainage Program Project along West 11th Street. The project upgraded stormwater lines, rehabilitated the roadway and widened sidewalks to help connected cyclists & pedestrians to nearby trails 🚲🚶‍♂️🙂

The Tour de Houston Presented by Apache Corporation is this Sunday, February 26th! This year, a good portion of the ride will come through the East End and District I. The ride begins and ends at City Hall with route options of 20, 40 and 60 miles. Register to ride at TourDeHouston.org, and chose to ride with me and members of my council staff by selecting the “CoH Council District I” team during registration.

Proceeds benefit the Houston Parks and Recreation Department.
