Kiwanis clubs receive this training annually to help ensure that we provide a safe, welcoming environment for all youth we serve. Protecting children is a core part of our mission, and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and accountability in our programs and activities.

💙🤍 Last month, Harper Creek Community Schools was honored to receive a generous grant from the Kiwanis Club of Battle Creek to help purchase an additional Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) for Sonoma Elementary.

This important addition helps strengthen the safety and preparedness of our schools for students, staff, and families.

Pictured accepting the grant are Stacy Halverson, Health Aide in charge of AEDs at Harper Creek, and Lindsey Cook, Sonoma Principal. We are incredibly thankful for organizations like Kiwanis that continue to invest in and support our schools! 💙🤍
