See you there Heavy Cav family!

Come out and join us tomorrow for our Family 5K Fun Day! Meet at the hangar at 7:45 to run with your soldier on the airfield (kids welcome!). Not sure you want to run the whole course? We have a shorter course for spouses and kids and after you can let the kids climb on the helicopters and vehicles in the hangar. At 9:30 we will move to Biggs park for breakfast burritos, Chick-fil-a and some friendly competition. There will be a volleyball tournament, corn hole tournament, relay races, watermelon eating contests and more! Families and kids can join in the fun too! Questions? email: [email protected]

Yesterday, TF Heavy CAV conducted the Spur Ride prerequisite ruck march.

It’s not the symbolic Stetson or spurs that make you part of this Cav team- it’s your discipline, toughness and ability to accomplish the mission no matter the challenge. Great job by everybody!

Happy New Year TF Heavy Cav!

2022 was a great year highlighted by NTC, gunnery, spur ride, deployment, training in Latvia, gunnery in Europe, training in Poland and so much more. What a productive year!

Not to mention all the great SFRG family events like the ball and holiday parties!

There are 40 Troopers in the TF that have volunteered to be walking blood donors to support emergency medical care for their fellow Soldiers during our rotation. Heavy Cav!
