For this month's LHC On Your Block segment, we are focusing on LHC's disaster recovery projects that help Louisiana communities impacted by natural disasters to find safe housing. Louisiana Avenue Firehouse is a prime example of rehabilitation to serve a purpose. This mixed-use property returns to New Orleans's Central City, utilizing LHC's Rental Restoration and Development Program funds, to create permanently affordable apartments alongside an early childhood education center.
