To My Family, Friends, and Fellow Citizens,
I would like to Thank You for coming to the polls once again and casting your votes. Without you, an election would not be possible. I am very humbled and blessed to have been elected to serve you as the next Auditor for Barnwell County. I know I have a big responsibility ahead of me and I have a lot to learn, therefore I ask for your continued support and patience. I am ready to serve the citizens of our great County of Barnwell. As a lifelong resident, Barnwell County and the people are very near and dear to my heart. I could not have done this with out your love, support, encouragement and prayers.
I have the a highest respect for anyone who runs for a public office. It is a lot of hard work and it takes a lot of time from your family. I am fortunate to have a family that has stood by me and had patience in my endeavor. I enjoyed meeting and talking with people during my campaign. My hat goes off to Janet Ginn and Paula Still for putting their bids in for this office as well. I feel we all worked very hard day in and day out. We are all winners because of our efforts during these past few months.
I have let God guide my decisions in all I have done before, during, and after this election, including my decision to run. It is by his Grace and Will that I am where I am today. Words simply can not express my gratitude to you, the citizens of Barnwell. It is my honor to be elected to serve you as Auditor. I plan to do the job to the best of my ability and do it under the guidance of the State of South Carolina. The citizens of Barnwell will get the best possible service in a nice, friendly atmosphere and will be treated with the respect they so graciously deserve.
Thank You,
Gwen Sanders Kinard
