2nd Lt. Walter N. Levy served as a Marine Corps Infantry Officer and was killed in action on September 18th, 1965 in Quang Nam Province, South Vietnam. 2nd Lt. Levy was a Norwich University Alum and graduated in the class of 1963. When is the Walter N. Levy Challenge? The annual event is in his honor and will be held at Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont on September 26th, 2021. What

is the Levy Challenge? Levy Challenge is a 6.7-mile endurance race that will challenge you both mentally and physically with events such as litter carries, water obstacles, sandbag runs, paintball accuracy, and calisthenics.Participants have the option of running the race in a 4-person team or individually. Where do the proceeds go?
100% of the proceeds from the Levy Challenge will go to non-profit causes and organizations. The NU Semper Fidelis Society is a proud donor of Semper Fi & America’s Fund, who provide resources and support for wounded veterans. The NU Semper Fidelis Society has been able to raise thousands of dollars for Semper Fi & America’s Fund through the Levy Challenge in years past.
