Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads and father figures in our Princeton Public Schools family!

Today, we want to celebrate the incredible men who guide, support, and inspire our students every single day. We are profoundly grateful for the dedicated fathers and father figures among our teachers, administrators, bus drivers, custodians, and support staff who bring their hearts to work and serve as phenomenal role models for our youth.

Our deepest thanks also go out to the dads, stepdads, grandpas, uncles, brothers, and mentors across our community. Whether you are cheering in the stands, helping with homework, or packing lunches, you are the daily anchors for our students. From preschool to high school graduation, your patience, love, and leadership shape the future of our entire school system.

Today, we join together to honor and celebrate Juneteenth (Freedom Day)—marking June 19, 1865, when the news of emancipation finally reached the last enslaved Black Americans in Galveston, Texas, two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

As a PK-12 district, we believe that understanding our shared history is vital to building a brighter, more inclusive, and equitable future for every student. Today is a day for reflection on the resilience and triumph of Black Americans, education to continue learning and teaching the full truth of our history, and celebration of Black culture, joy, and community achievements.

Happy Freedom Day!

Our schools and offices are closed today in observance of the holiday.

The final bell has rung! The 2025-2026 school year is officially in the books! 📚✨

From our youngest Pre-K learners stepping into their very first classrooms to our incredible graduating seniors walking across the stage, we are so incredibly proud of the growth, resilience, and achievements of every single student this year.

To our amazing teachers, staff, parents, and community members: THANK YOU. Your dedication, patience, and support made this year a success. We couldn't do it without our incredible village.

Now, it’s time to turn off the alarm clocks, close the laptops, and soak up the sunshine. 🕶️🍦

Don't forget! Tomorrow is "Walk & Wheel Wednesday"! We want to encourage students to walk, ride their bike, scooter, etc., or ride the bus to school every Wednesday. 🚶‍♀️🚶🏽‍♂️🚌 🛴 🚲

The effort is to help build awareness of safe routes while encouraging community connections with families. ​By taking mass action, students will raise their visibility among drivers and create safer streets for themselves and other walkers and bikers.
