: The AcqDemo Program Office has been hosting weekly Open Forums for CAS2Net Administrators to provide information and real time CAS2Net updates relating to the various EOY cycle activities (CMS Online, Discrepancy Reports, Previous Cycle Data, and more). Have you checked out the latest AcqDemo Open Forum for CAS2Net Administrators? The October 6 Open Forum provides an overview of the Discrepancy Report capability. DCPAS provides DCPDS data for AcqDemo employees on the Wednesday following the start of each Pay Period. As part of this process, the script will check the data for each employee to ensure that the information meets specific rules then automatically updates the appropriate field(s) in CAS2Net. This happens every two weeks along with the pay period calendar and is uploaded in CAS2Net under Pay Pool Notices. Additionally, the Discrepancy Report identifies differences, errors, and/or warnings to be viewed by the Pay Pool Administrator.

Yesterday, under the leadership of DAU President James Woolsey and HCI Director Scott Bauer, the DAU office of Human Capital Initiatives hosted the 2022 Department Of Defense Public-Private Talent Exchange Midpoint session. With PPTE participants being at the half-way mark in their exchange assignments, this session provided a platform for them to share key feedback on their experience with leaders and discuss how they can leverage what they are learning when they return to their place of employment following the exchange. For the first time, DAU personnel joined in the discussion to hear the PPTE participants' experiences, and ask questions to increase their awareness of the program and how they can implement best practices from industry into their curriculum. Guest speaker Dr. Michael Sloane, Dean, Defense Systems Management College, has his finger on the pulse of the and shared his insight in his talk titled “Value of the Warfighter’s Perspective."
The PPTE program affords and industry mid-career professionals an opportunity to gain exposure and experience in operations, business culture, and challenges and the opportunity to share innovative best practices.
