FirstNet Authority Official page of the First Responder Network Authority

The First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet Authority) oversees the deployment of FirstNet, the nationwide public safety broadband network. The network is designed to provide first responders with the advanced technologies they need to save lives and keep their communities safe. The FirstNet network will help to solve the communications challenges that public safety personnel have faced in res

ponding to local emergencies, as well as large scale emergencies such as the 9/11 terrorist attacks and Hurricane Katrina. Developed through an innovative public-private partnership with AT&T, the FirstNet network is a single, nationwide, interoperable LTE network for fire, law enforcement, EMS and other public safety personnel. Learn how to get involved with FirstNet in your state, visit FirstNet.gov.
