Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Springfield, Illinois has served thousands of people during the pandemic. Check out their great work!
GIVING FEELS GREAT! In the last week, Land of Lincoln Credit Union has handed out $20,000 to several central Illinois food pantries including Northeast Community Fund, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Springfield, Illinois, 6:35 Pantry in Vandalia, Effingham Catholic Charities Events Page, Catholic Charities of Mattoon, Loaves & Fishes of Pana and The Salvation Army Service Center of Centralia. All was thanks to a grant we applied for and received from Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago. Times are tough and due to the pandemic, all food banks are seeing NEW clients and families needing services who have NEVER needed it before. We encourage everyone to give if you can!
