Our library’s mission is to promote the value and importance of library services, programs, spaces, and collections, and to strengthen our community through education & engagement. The Central Library reserves the right to delete any posts or comments if they are harassing, obscene, personally name staff members, or do not meet other criteria in the Central
Library Facebook Policy listed below. Please keep discussions on topic and respectful of others. Be mindful of copyright- Posts that are in question of copyright violation may be removed by the Central Library
No swearing or other offensive language
No discriminatory, disrespectful, or otherwise hurtful comments
The Central Library maintains a zero-tolerance policy on any discriminatory behavior or language. Do not advertise your business or items for sale
Due to the current crisis and Facebook’s own policies, the Central Library reserves the right to delete posts that could be deemed as misinformation. Comments expressed on any social media platform do not reflect the views or positions of the library, its officers, or its employees. Social media users should exercise their own judgment about the quality and accuracy of any information presented through social media.
