We had a wonderful two weeks at the JOM Culture Camp. It ended on a potlatch hosted by the students, who learned how to make frybread, build a camp, fix white fish for akutaq and make the akutaq, and sing and dance Native songs.

FNA Head Start plants a garden. The children grew plants in their classrooms and planted them in the K’edenyahh Denh Garden. The garden addresses insecurity that families might face and is used as teaching tool. For the past several years, families have enjoyed an abundance of vegetables from the garden.
FNA Head Start also offered seeds, soil and pots for families to take home.
