Moorefield Community Fire Department #1 INC.

Come and join the Moorefield Fire Department for our annual Ice-cream Social. 105 gallons of homemade ice cream, with desserts, hot dogs, and drinks will be available. We will also have quart to go containers or you can stay and have a good time with everyone. Meet the firefighters that serve you!
The money raised will go towards gear, equipment, maintenance, upgrades, etc.
Gear for one fire fighter is around $6,500 and needs replaced every 10 years. Equipment to keep the firehouse going can be up into the thousands of dollars. If we need to replace a truck that can cost us even more.
We strive to provide the best service possible with the most up-to-date equipment and continuous training.
We are always looking for new members that are willing to learn, sacrifice for their time for their community, and the will to serve our great community.
Our service to our great community and surrounding areas would not be possible without your continuous support. We as a company are proud to serve the area and it's residents.

Firefighter Ralph Meyer of the Napoleon Volunteer Fire Company in Napoleon, Indiana, fell in the line-of-duty on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024 due to Heart Attack at the age of 72.

Fire trucks are requested for the funeral of 19-year-old Landen Comer who passed away in a crash Tuesday.
