Many of the biggest challenges facing our communities are rooted in race. Chairwoman Rep. Donna Bullock is working with the PA House Democratic Policy Committee to bring #environmentaljustice to historically working class neighborhoods, which many times are plagued by environmental concerns, decreasing property values, and a lack of fair representation in decision-making processes. The Chairwoman has introduced legislation that would require facilities seeking permits in burdened areas to provide environmental impact assessments.
