McAdoo Borough: The No Parking Ban is still in effect on Kennedy Drive and Blaine Street. Snow removal will begin tonight starting on Kennedy Drive. Use caution when driving through the area. Pay attention to traffic control and watch out for workers and heavy equipment. Remember, parking violators are being ticketed and vehicles towed. Parking will resume once the No Parking signs are removed. Thank you.

NOTICE
The Borough of McAdoo’s Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday the 14th will start at 7:00 pm instead of 6:00 pm. The meeting will take place at the Municipal Building, located at 23 North Hancock Street, McAdoo, PA 18237.
The Borough’s Snow Ban is in effect October 15th and will end April 30, 2026. The amended ordinance states parking is allowed on both sides of the streets. Parking is not allowed on the secondary streets/alleys during this time.

Just a reminder to McAdoo's property owners that the 2025 garbage fees are due by or on June 30th. Late fees have been applied to those that have yet paid by March 31st. If total owed is not paid by the 30th an additional fee will be added. Thank you.

Residents of McAdoo the Memorial Day Parade will be held tomorrow at 11:00 am. It will begin on South Hancock and Sherman Streets to South Manning heading east on Blaine Street making a left on North Lincoln to Grant Street heading west to Kennedy Drive where it will proceed south A moment of silence then a gun salute in front of the VFW and monument dispersing at Adams Street.
Residents are also being reminded garbage pickup (also one bulk item) will be Tuesday due to the holiday. Please do not set trash out until the night before.

The Borough of McAdoo has an empty seat available on the Kline, Banks, McAdoo/ KBM Regional Authority Board. Interested residents of McAdoo can submit a short letter stating so to the secretary at 23 North Hancock Street or email [email protected].

MEETING NOTICE

The Borough of McAdoo’s March, 2025 Council Meeting will be held on Monday the 10th rather than on Tuesday. The work session will begin at 6:00 pm with the council meeting following. The meetings will be held at the Borough’s Municipal Building, 23 North Hancock Street, McAdoo PA 18237.

Hello McAdoo, remember do not park in the alleys.
Also, garbage will be collected tomorrow but later than normal due to the snow. Please if you have to drive be safe and take it slow. There are slick spots especially at the intersections.
