In Colorado, we love beer đŸș, and we love bikes đŸšČ. But if you drink and ride, you’re putting your life at risk.

In a 2012 study by the Governors Highway Safety Association examining bicycle fatality trends since the 1970s found that, in 2012, 28% of riders 16 and older had blood alcohol concentrations (BAC) above the legal limit of .08.

Colorado bicycle fatalities rose 29% from 2024 to 2025 (Colorado Department of Transportation). Make the Call for a sober (bike) ride, every time.

2026 saw the deadliest start to the year for motorcyclists in Colorado since 2017. Not wearing a helmet, speed, and alcohol are primary factors in motorcycle fatalities (CDOT, NHTSA).
