AmeriCorps NCCC AmeriCorps brings people together to serve communities. Your insights help ensure the public is informed and can be a part of AmeriCorps’s work every day.

AmeriCorps NCCC is a full-time service program that covers lodging and travel expenses, allowing young adults to serve on a team and make an impact in communities across the country while gaining valuable leadership skills. Over ten months, AmeriCorps NCCC members work full-time on several projects, from building and rehabilitating homes for families in need to cleaning up parks, streams, trails,

and shorelines to helping communities recover from disasters. FEMA Corps is a newer track of NCCC, where members focus solely on disaster response and recovery activities with FEMA. Throughout their twelve month term, members provide support that ranges from working directly with disaster survivors to supporting disaster recovery centers to sharing valuable disaster mitigation and recovery information with the public. AmeriCorps NCCC and FEMA Corps members are assigned to one of four campuses located across the country: Sacramento, CA; Aurora, CO; Vinton, IA; or Vicksburg, MS.
