Groundbreaking Complete ✅️

Earlier, we joined the City of Fredericktown, MO officials, DILLE POLLARD Architecture, and Brockmiller Construction Incorporated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Fredericktown Fire Station. The new station will be just over 9,000 sqft and include modern sized pull through apparatus bays, a new meeting space, a day room/kitchen, locker rooms, and office space. The facility will sit next to the existing apparatus bays which will be remodeled to match the new station. Currently projections are for the work to be complete in early 2024. We cannot thank our community enough for the support through the Prop P sales tax measure which made this project possible.

Good job to all the departments involved!

Are we under a boiling water order at this time?
It’s National Fire Prevention Week, so the Fredericktown Fire Department invited us to hang out at the fire station this morning. Our friends learned a lot about fire safety and had a chance to spray some water!
Today, our friends enjoyed running and walking laps in our annual Track-A-Thon. We were joined by many of our community's first responders from Fredericktown Police Department, Madison County Missouri Sheriff's Office, Fredericktown Fire Department, Cherokee Pass Volunteer Fire Department, and Madison County Ambulance District. First responders walked with our students and let them check out some of their vehicles.

Special thanks to our volunteers who helped make Track-A-Thon possible and to Madison County Chamber of Commerce for donating bottled water for our runners!

Thank you to all the students and parents who helped us raise money for our school. Don't forget to collect your pledges and donations and return them to school by Friday, September 24.
Girl Scout Troop #72043 wants to say a big Thank You to the Fredericktown Fire Department. The girls had a great time learning about the role of a firefighter and touring the station. They do say the favorite part was spraying the water. Thanks again for protecting the community and extending the knowledge to our girls.
The Fredericktown Fire Department joined us this afternoon with one of their trucks and a fire hose for a little water fun. First and second grade students enjoyed running through the water spray.

Are you having the haunted trail tonight
I want to express my sincere thanks to your fire department for their quick response to my stove fire tonight. I wasn't cooking and it appears to have been an electrical short. I felt bad calling for what I thought was a minor fire, but was told it was a potential house fire. When something like this happens, it makes you think of what it could have been. Your firefighters came to fight a potential house fire, but thankfully they didn't have to tonight. Thanks again to all of them for their selfless response to my minor fire. We are blessed to have such dedicated first responders in our community. May God bless all of you and keep you safe.
The Fredericktown Fire Department brought their ladder truck to school today to talk to students about fire fighting and cool them off a bit. They were DRENCHED!
