The Fourth of July will be here before you know it! This is a reminder to call your veterinarian as soon as possible if you think your pet might fear loud noises and you'd like to discuss medication or other options for reducing your pet’s fear of fireworks.

Your veterinary clinic may need time to schedule your pet for an appointment in order to best help your furry friend. Give them a call today!

Adorable Mia stopped by the shelter with her human last week to pick up her very first Washington County dog license!

If your pup needs a license (or it's time for a renewal), stop by the shelter or visit www.WashingtonCountyDogLicense.com for more information on licensing online, over the phone or by mail.

Don't worry if your canine cutie isn't interested in a field trip. We loved meeting this sweet girl, but bringing your dog with you to the shelter is not required for licensing.

Bandit was reunited with his family today at our shelter! He was so excited to see his person that it was tough to get him to stand still for a photo. But, we eventually got Bandit's attention for split second, and we were rewarded with this pic of his sweet face.
