✨ Highlight of the Week ✨
This past Wednesday, the Ventura County Library had the honor of hosting a powerful evening with Dr. Lily Anne Welty Tamai at the Museum of Ventura County's Agriculture Museum in Santa Paula.
As part of the 2026 One Book, One Coast program centered around George Takei's graphic memoir They Called Us Enemy, Dr. Tamai brought Ventura County's own Japanese American history to life, sharing the profound and lasting impact of Executive Order 9066 on families, farms, and communities right here in our own backyard.
