The January 6th Committee is determined to protect the sanctity of American democracy not just for this election or the next, but for all the generations after us.
The January 6th Committee is defending democracy and defending our elections for Democrats, Republicans, and independents alike. Tune in today at 1pm EST for our next hearing.
This morning, I joined Morning Joe to discuss ⬇️
ICYMI: I joined Spectrum News 13 to discuss my recent trip to Taiwan, where I had the opportunity to speak with Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen.
With the number of health care jobs expected to grow by 16% by 2030, it's important for students to have access to quality training programs. That's why I'm fighting to secure $500,000 in federal funding to expand Seminole High School Sanford's Academy of Health Careers magnet program ⬇️
I never take America’s freedoms for granted. Every day, I feel grateful beyond words that this country gave my family refuge during our darkest days. Watch below to learn more about our journey ⬇️
Starting tomorrow, school is back in session for many students in Central Florida. Wishing all of our kids a great first day!
ICYMI: Last week, Officer Hodges and I joined CNN to discuss the January 6th hearings. Listen to a segment of our conversation below ⬇️
Congratulations to all the kids in Central Florida who just completed my Stephanie's Scholars reading program!
Thank you, Officer Hodges, for all you did to protect the Capitol on January 6th and what you continue to do to protect our DC community as a police officer.
January 6th was an attack on the Capitol, on the peaceful transfer of power, and on democracy itself.
But it was also an attack on real people and brave law enforcement officers. Listen here ⬇️
Our January 6th Committee is willing to hear from anyone with relevant information who is patriotic enough to come and testify before us.
Mammograms save lives, but not every woman has access to them. I'm fighting to secure federal funding for a new mammogram machine for 26Health to improve community access to screenings here in Central Florida. #NationalMammographyDay
What we saw on Jan. 6 was an attempt to use political violence to change the outcome of a free and fair election.
The very foundation of our democracy was at stake. Our bipartisan committee will follow every fact and use every tool available in order to find the truth.

🏳️🌈Happy #Pride Orlando!
I’m so proud that Central Florida is home to a vibrant LGBTQ+ community. What are you doing to celebrate?
As Orlando celebrates #Pride this week, I'm reflecting on the resiliency and strength our LGBTQ+ community showed in the aftermath of the tragic Pulse attack. Because of our bill — passed by Congress and signed by the President — Pulse is now a designated National Memorial Site.
This week Florida workers got a raise 💸
Last November, Floridians across the political spectrum voted to gradually increase the minimum wage. Yesterday, it jumped from $8.65/hr to $10/hr—and will hit $15/hr in 2026.
No one who works full-time should live in poverty.
CNN Interview with Jake Tapper
The American people have waited long enough for investments in our roads, bridges, ports, clean water, high-speed broadband, and efforts to combat climate change.
It's time to pass the bipartisan infrastructure bill.
Right now we have the opportunity to pass an historic, bipartisan infrastructure bill that will improve the lives of people across the country.
I urge my Democratic and Republican colleagues to step up, stop the delay, and vote for this good bill. We may not get another chance.
ICYMI: This past week the House passed the bipartisan National Defense Authorization Act to help us deter our adversaries, support our allies, and provide our troops with the resources they need. #FY22NDAA
"[Rep. Murphy] wants politicians of all stripes to work together to get more of these projects funded in a responsible way."
I just left the House floor where I proudly voted YES for the Women's Health Protection Act. We must protect the constitutional right of every woman to make the best decisions for herself and her family. #WHPA
