"61 years ago, hundreds of nonviolent demonstrators began to cross the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama, when they were brutally attacked by state troopers. Protestors were thrown to the ground, beat with clubs, and knocked out with tear gas. The moment came to be known as 'Bloody Sunday,' a turning point in the Civil Rights Movement. Each tablet features 100 educational games and storybooks around various topics like world languages, literacy, STEM, and more! We're celebrating Pride Month with events for all ages! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ Join us TODAY, June 1 at 5:30 pm for Family Game Night with Uniting Pride for a night of fun, games, and community to kick off Pride Month! Then, on Saturday, June 13 at 2:00 pm, make something beautiful at our annual Love Wins Crafting event.

These events are open to all LGBTQ+ folks and allies. Materials and games will be provided! Feel free to come alone or bring friends 🫶
