The first official Building Trades Caucus is in the books. Dozens of legislators from both sides of the aisle came together to meet with with leaders in the building trades space in a bipartisan effort to come up with common-sense solutions and strengthen Michigan’s skilled trades pipeline.

Thank you to SEMCA for sending such great representatives and for highlighting the success of the workforce training and apprenticeship programs they are leading in my district. Macomb Leads the Way!

VFWs play an important role for our veterans. In this Update in the 58, I discuss the $4 million I fought to secure for infrastructure improvements for veteran non-profit organizations, including nearly $300,000 for American Legion Post 351, Utica/Shelby Township, MI. I’ll keep fighting to deliver for our veterans.
