Google is no longer a search engine — it is an AI assistant. Search is basically an algorithm for finding information online. An AI assistant finds the information it thinks is valuable, and then does its own analysis of that information.

It would be like going to the library & someone meeting you at the door, taking your question, and bringing you THEIR answer.

This is literally antithetical to learning.

If you would like a search engine that is still… search, I recommend Duck Duck Go And it’s just the beginning.

The younger your kids are on screens, the higher likelihood they have of developing digital dementia. Brain rot is not a joke.

This was my greatest fear after losing my grandma to dementia and now it’s reality for life . 😭

I’m excited to invite students in grades 9–12 to participate in my “Showcase Your Art” exhibition, themed: Community Through My Eyes.

Whether you express yourself through drawing or photography, this is an opportunity to share your creativity, perspective, and talent with our community. Selected artwork will be exhibited in my district office as well as at the New York State Capitol in Albany.
