Clark County Democratic Women Announces Leadership Change

On Thursday, April 23, 2026, the Board of Clark County Democratic Women requested the resignation of Chair Sarah Mittleman following concerns regarding conduct that the Board believed reflected a lack of transparency and honesty inconsistent with the values and leadership standards of the organization.

Sarah Mittleman subsequently submitted her resignation, and later that same day publicly announced her candidacy for office as a Republican.

Clark County Democratic Women remains committed to inclusive, ethical, and values-driven leadership as we continue our work supporting women’s civic engagement, advocacy, and community leadership throughout Clark County.

Information regarding interim leadership and next steps will be shared with members soon.

There was a lot of energy in room.
