McDowell Gold Jubilee

The McDowell Gold Jubilee is part of the McDowell Community history and was started in December of 1962, after consolidation of the area Schools. We have bi-weekly live stage performances from October to May each year. The Doors open at 5:30 pm and Stage Shows start at 6:30 pm. There is a small concession stand that has a different variety of food each time. There is also a variety of Deserts, including the local favorite Popcorn, Coffee, Soda and water available.

Admission is always free and all proceeds go to support the School House. All worker are volunteers and most of the food is volunteered, so donations of any kind are always welcome, as well as volunteers.

We are located in the McDowell Historic Schoolhouse and apart of the McDowell Historic Schoolhouse Foundation. The Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that preserves area History, Ozark Mountain Music and fellowship.
