The Bulldogs suffered their first lost of the season tonight, snapping their undefeated streak.

Final score against the Eddies was 59-27.

Their record is now 7-1.

The Dawgs are going to need a big hometown crowd next week against Paw Paw! It’s the last regular season game. We hope to see you there!

Vicksburg Middle School students recently explored future careers through the Kalamazoo RESA Career Connect Mobile Discovery Lab.
This year, the lab is a simulated space mission experience.
Students stepped into mission control, completing hands-on challenges to help a crew aboard a space station while learning about careers in technology, cybersecurity, networking, programming, and more.
Each mission introduced students to real-world jobs and skills needed in today’s tech industry.
The interactive, space-themed experience helped show the students how today’s skills can lead to tomorrow’s careers.

It’s National School Lunch Week!
This week, we’re recognizing the importance of nutritious school meals and the dedicated food service staff who prepare and serve them each day.
Everything on the tray featured here from Vicksburg Middle School was sourced from the ValleyHUB KVCC, with the exception of the chicken.
That new partnership is just one of the ways the VCS School Nutrition Team is working to make sure our Bulldogs have the nutrition they need to stay energized and ready to learn.

Thank you to our nutrition team members at all VCS schools for helping keep our Bulldogs fueled for success!

Students in Matt Bombich’s Design and Build Lab classes at Vicksburg High School are putting their problem-solving and design skills to work by creating custom doorstops for VHS staff members!

After identifying common problems with classroom doors and asking staff questions to better understand their needs, students designed and built doorstops to help keep doors open. They turned real-world feedback into practical solutions! And they customized the designs for each of the teachers.

This project is a great example of hands-on learning in action! They spent time identifying a real problem, listening to the people who experience it, and designing something that makes a difference.

Science in Action at Indian Lake Elementary!

Our 5th graders are diving into our new elementary science curriculum with some hands-on learning! At Indian Lake, they got to use the newly created science lab for their experiment.

Students recently dissected owl pellets, carefully taking them apart and using worksheets to identify the different types of bones they discovered inside. This engaging activity gave students the opportunity to investigate, make observations and put their science skills to work!

Who knew learning about food chains and animal diets could be so fascinating?
