Every September, Attendance Awareness Month highlights the importance of maintaining attendance in school and college for academic success. Apart from the fact that missing classes can place a student behind in their coursework, absenteeism also affects assignments and final exams. It should be our biggest Community Tailgate yet!

We have more than 50 community partners, local businesses and school groups that are signed up for booths. Each one will have games, prizes and giveaways!

Come on out and celebrate our amazing community leading up to our first home football game of the year!

This Friday is the last chance for VCS students to get their Wolverine Conference Ticket Passes!

Passes are $50 plus fees. They are only for students and good for ALL VMS and VHS regular season home games PLUS all away games at any Wolverine Conference school.
Wolverine Conference ticket passes for the fall must be purchased by September 4th.

Today is the first official day of school for our kindergarten students!

Yesterday, each school hosted open house events for them to meet their teachers and check out their classrooms.

At Tobey Elementary they also had a signing day to kick off their time in Vicksburg Schools.

We are so excited to welcome all our Bulldogs back to school tomorrow!

We've got a big week with exciting things happening.
Monday, August 31st is the first day of school. It is a full day.
(Note: Kindergarten students officially start Tuesday, with open house events on Monday)

Thursday, September 3rd is our Community Tailgate-- it's a great free event for all families. The Tailgate happens ahead of the first home football game.

There is no school September 4th through the 7th for Labor Day.

Let's make it a great school year, Bulldogs!
