The dumpsters are in place and ready to go. Join us Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM to help keep Victor clean and beautiful.

📄 Free document shredding will also be available Saturday from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Residents and visitors are advised that CC&V will be conducting one blast today at approximately 3:00 PM in the South Cresson 7 Pit ( #101), adjacent to Goldfield.

Please expect a loud noise and possible vibration in the area during the blast window. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as mining operations continue safely in our community.

🚍⛏️ Look at this awesome ride rolling off the line!

The City of Victor is excited to see the return of Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mine tours and the continued investment in tourism and heritage experiences throughout our community.

Mine tours have long been an important part of sharing the story of Victor, the Mining District, and Colorado’s rich gold mining history with visitors from around the world. We’re thrilled to see this experience returning and look forward to welcoming more visitors to Victor.

Be sure to keep an eye out for this beautiful new tour bus around the district soon! 🏔️✨

🇺🇸 Memorial Day Closure Notice 🇺🇸

The City of Victor offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.

As we enjoy the holiday weekend, we also pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

City offices will reopen during normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26.

We wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend.

NOTICE OF EMERGENCY CITY COUNCIL MEETING

The Victor City Council will hold an emergency meeting this afternoon to lift the local emergency declaration related to the recent water system crisis.

No other business will be discussed at this meeting.

Thank you to our residents, businesses, staff, volunteers, and partner agencies for their support throughout this emergency response.

🚰 BOIL ORDER LIFTED 🚰

The City of Victor has successfully completed all required CDPHE water quality testing and the boil order for Victor and Goldfield has officially been lifted.

Water is now safe for drinking, cooking, bathing, and all normal use.

We want to sincerely thank our residents, businesses, staff, partner agencies, contractors, and volunteers for their patience, support, and assistance throughout this emergency. This was a challenging event for our community, but the response from so many people helped ensure water service was restored as quickly and safely as possible.

A special thank you goes to our Public Works crews and emergency partners who worked around the clock over the last several days to restore service and stabilize the system.

🚰 The City is asking residents to run their hot water for a short period of time today. Doing so helps remove trapped air from household plumbing and supports the continued refilling and stabilization of the water system.

You may notice sputtering, air, or cloudy water initially as the system continues to normalize. Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation as crews work through the final stages of restoring normal operations.
