WOW. That’s a huge solar prominence!
Just how big was that prominence we saw on the lower limb of the Sun during ? I wanted to figure it out. Since we know the estimated diameter of the Sun, my rough estimate (measuring pixels) puts it at 5X the size of Earth, or reaching about 38,726 mi / 62,651 km from the surface of the sun.
