Hello to my sisters and brothers in Christ. I know it has been some time since I have written to you, but you have always been in my thoughts and prayers. So much has happened to all of us over the last few months and two years, but God is still in the blessing and keeping business. I know you join me in blessing His holy name. I know that each of us has so much to be thankful for through it all. So I am back on the job and I trust that God will continue to bless and keep me in His loving arms. So continue to pray for and keep each other and me lifted up as I will continue to do for all of you.

Hello and a belated Happy New Year to all my sisters and brothers in Christ. It has been some time since I have spoken with all of you through this post. However long it has been, please know that through sickness and health, good and bad my thoughts and prayers for you are always present. So much has happened to us as a people in the past two years of covid and its various deadly strands, but we are still standing!! Many of our numbers have fallen but we will remember them and tell their stories because those are our stories too. Because we have learned to trust in God no matter what or how perilous the journey, we will will continue to hold on to His unchanging hands. So, I am back to continue our journey of faith together. Let me hear from you on this page. I will be posting our planned programs for the year and hopefully you will join us as Women in Christ United goes about our mission "to Empower Christian Women for Kingdom Building." God bless and keep you as we continue to lift each other in prayer.

Hello to all my Sisters and Brothers in Christ.
I know it has been a while since we have talked but know that I am always thinking of you and praying for you. Sometimes everyday life gets in the way of the things our hearts really want to do, but all is well. We are finally trying to get back on track with our annual events, so our 16th Annual Prayer Breakfast is back on the schedule for September 4, 2021 at First Lynnhaven Baptist Church Fellowship Hall at 8:30am. Make plans to attend this wonderful morning of prayer and praise and fellowship along with a dynamic speaker, special presentations, music and of course a big delicious breakfast. Best of all, it is FREE. Bring your Prayer Shawls for a special prayer of consecration. Remember to continue to keep each other lifted up in prayer. God bless you and I love you all.

Hello to all of my sisters and brothers in Christ. I am so sorry that it has taken a while for me to get back to you, but I have been very busy trying to do projects to keep our organization afloat in these trying times. However, we are being blessed and we are thankful for your prayers and support. We have our beautiful Special Edition 2021 Calendar available for purchase. If you would like to purchase one, just use our cash app:$WomenNChrist. The donation is $15. It displays all our Top Models over the past 10 years from the Big Hat Luncheons as well as pages of the other participating models and attendees of the events. Truly one of a kind. It will be sent to you right away. I pray that all of you have been vaccinated or have made an appointment. My husband and I received our second shot on March 4th with very little discomfort. All my adult children have also been completely vaccinated. Please do it not just for yourself but for those you love. I pray that your Easter season was a blessing to all and your hearts were renewed and refreshed. I would love to hear from you. Just drop us a hello or a picture on this page. Continue to lift each other up in prayer. I love you all and blessings to each of you.

Hello to my sisters and brothers in Christ and a very belated Happy New Year to all of you. I know it has been a minute since I last talked with you, but like all of us, I have had issues to deal with but God is good and continues to bless His children. I pray that all of you are taking precautions and taking care in your everyday lives because the pandemic is still alive and well. I had my first dose of the vaccine on Monday and my husband on Tuesday and, praise God, we had no reactions other than a little arm soreness that Tylenol alleviated. I want to encourage all of you to get the vaccine, especially if, like me, you have underlying conditions. I want all of you to add your name to our list to receive our newsletter. It is free and informative and will keep you informed about our activities and programmed events. Just send a message on this page or email me: [email protected]. God bless you all and I will talk to you again very soon.

Hello almost Christmas to my sisters and brothers in Christ!! I am trying to inject some real happiness and the true joy of Christmas into this brief greeting to all of you. Why do I have to "try"? Covid 19 is striking close to home for all of us and sometimes it is hard to see any light at the end of a very dark tunnel. Yes, there is talk of a vaccine but It's wait and see. We are so desperately trying to hold on to some semblance of normalcy but Lord, it is so hard. So right now we ask you to continue to spread your arms of loving protection around us and those we love as well as all of your children. We know that you are working it out for our good even if we can't see or understand it. We are still holding on to your unchanging hand. God bless all of you and keep you safe in this blessed holiday season. Merry Christmas to all of you and prayers for the New Year. In Jesus name. Amen. I love you all.

Hello my sisters and brothers in Christ. I realize that I have not done my due diligence in writing to you more often. But to be perfectly honest with you, with all that is going on in the world and especially in our individual lives, I have just not had the energy and sometimes not the words to express my dismay. It would be wrong for me to pass that on to you, the ones I love. However, God is ever present; always in times of dismay and can restore our wounded spirits. So here I stand!! I hope all of you are well and keeping safe and most of all, blessed in the Lord. Women in Christ United had to cancel all of our activities for this year as you know, but we are still having our monthly Zoom meetings and looking hopefully and prayfully towards next year. So please continue to pray for us and with us as we continue to pray for all of you. God bless you all.

Hello to all my sisters and brothers in Christ. I know it has been a minute since I have sent you a message but please always realize that I am thinking of you and always praying for you. It is my hope that you are constantly lifting each other up in this trying time. This is a time that truly test the souls of even good God fearing men and women and test our faith. It is that challenge that has to keep us on our knees. The chilly hands of death is reaching out without favor and we must hold on to God's unchanging hands. Hold your family and love ones tight because when God calls, there may not be enough time to say goodbye. So always tell that you love them. May God continue to keep a hedge of protection around each of you. This is my prayer for you and I hope it is your prayer for me. I love you and we will talk again soon.

Blessings to all my Facebook friends and family. I have never come to you in this way before but this year is different for all of us. This year for my 72nd Birthday, on May 13th, I am asking you to make a donation, of any size, to Women in Christ United, the nonprofit organization that I founded 15 years ago and has thrived and contributed to the advancement and the sisterhood of women (and brothers) of faith with charitable, educational and other religious activities. I am asking you, my friends and family to support me in this continued effort on my birthday. God bless you all.

Hello my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray that you and your families are remaining safe during this time of sickness, death and uncertainty. I keep hearing people saying how terrible being quarantined (in our own homes) has become. So I ask you a question: would you prefer to be home in quarantine or lying cold and dead in the back of a freezer truck? So many did not get to make that choice, think about that. The virus does not care about who you are, where you live, work; race, color, religion, wealth, poverty or any other status you can think of. One thing is certain; this did not take God by surprise and HE is still in complete control. Perhaps He has approved of the quarantine! I give you the words of Isaiah 26:20: "Go home, my people, and lock your doors! Hid yourselves for a little while until the Lord's anger has passed."
Please continue to lift each other, the bereaved all over the world and our nation in prayer. May God continue to bless and keep all of us in his loving care. I pray for you and you pray for me. Love to you all. Mary Alice Goode, President.

Hello to all my sisters and brothers in Christ. I have truly missed all of you so very much but I have been faith and spirit tested in these last couple off months. I had a knee replacement on April 18th which I am still recovering from and two weeks post-op, I lost my darling 27 year old Grandson to cancer and without hesitation, I flew to Texas to be with my son and daughter-in-law. I bless God for blessing me to endure the travel and keeping us during so much sadness. Thank you and God bless you all who knew and supported me and my family. I am back at work doing my Father's business in the Kingdom and ask all of you to pray for me as I continue to pray for all of you. I love you.

03/23/2019
