We had a sad intake of 20 cats last night who were found to be living in a storage unit after they and their owner lost their home. We have worked up all the new arrivals and while they are understandably scared they are sweet and appear in good health. All but one are now housed in our colony cages in our adoption area and we would love to get them into loving homes sooner rather than later. We know their owner loved these cats and we want to help her help them. Please refrain from negative commentary in regards to the owner. While the cats could not continue to live in the storage unit - we know the owner was doing the best they could and we are just focused on helping these cats find new homes.

FIV itself does not cause severe clinical signs, and FIV+ cats can live many years without any health problems. FIV is transmitted through deep blood-drawing bites wounds. Ok the dogs have gotten enough attention 😉 so we have two sets of urgent senior cat adoptions needed. Senior cats and overweight cats stress much easier and are affected a lot more if they go off eating due to stress. These two sets of cats (three 9 year olds and two 14 year olds) are both senior AND overweight, so they needs homes fast. They are all VERY sweet cats and described as very well mannered and social with other animals and people. Please keep in mind any newly adopted cat should be given a quiet area to slowly acclimate to a new home/family.

Even the Golden Girls like to have some fun! Sabrina, Boat Drinks, and Penny became fast friends.

Meet Nessie! This 3 year old girl is available for adoption and looking for a loving home who will enjoy her and all her dorkishness! She doesn’t show the best in the shelter setting but give her a little time and this is what she is like. She did come from a home with other pets but we encourage dog meetings to ensure a good match. We don’t think she is ready for a home with kids because she is slower to warm up to people. She is a perfect medium size and house and crate trained!

Chloe! This adorable girl is mature in age but young at heart. She will happily bounce up for some fun time but is also just as content relaxing with you. She has been overlooked for far too long!

Hibiscus is coming it HOT to remind you to come to visit the shelter this weekend and fall in love. This girl loves to dress up, is obsessed with Ugg boots, and is so excited that pumpkin spice is back in season. Come meet her you won’t regret it ❤️

We have some adorable rats up for adoption! These are part of a LARGE rat intake a partner shelter has going on so we took in 10 boys to help them find homes! They are a bit rough around the edges but VERY sweet and deserve a great loving home all the same. $5 adoption fee and BOGO!

Here is a late night kitty spotlight! This social senior dude came to us as a stray in pretty rough shape. He has been eating like a champ, kicking a respiratory bug, and is feeling much better now and ready to find his special retirement home. He is super sweet and loving with all people, has been very tidy in his “house” and loves food. He didn’t seem too keen on the kitty we tried introducing him with today so the old man still has spunk so he may need some time to acclimate if you have another cat at home. He is a senior and that means he isn’t in “perfect” health, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t deserve to be spoiled rotten. His adoption fee is waived for a great loving home!
