BSA membership fee to change beginning Aug. 1, 2021 - Bryan on Scouting

While National fees will increase by $3-$6 (depending on the program), Tidewater Council is committed to keeping local council fees at the lowered $24 rate. As always, financial assistance is available.

The Boy Scouts of America has worked to keep the annual membership fee as low as possible, but with rising operating costs, the fee will be increased to maintain the program.

Pack 585, Troop 12, and Crew 520, all of Princess Anne district, volunteered to help with the Indian Lakes Association Memorial Day Festival. The Scouts retired the Association's old flag and raised a new one. The ceremony was appreciated by the community residents, and also served as a recruiting opportunity for the Scouting units.

Does anyone have a Space derby track that Albermarle Daycamp can borrow one day this week?
Good Afternoon Council, many of us were out of synch with the derby times projected yesterday and missed our dens/boys run. How are we able to see the standings for each den? All input and help appreciated in advance !
We are currently accepting applications to serve on our awesome summer camp staff. Interviews are starting soon. Please access an application here -

Does anyone know the name of a Conservation Advisor for the Hornaday Unit Award?
We have just received the report for results through the end of June for FOS campaigns in the Southern Region. β€’ Tidewater Council leads the way in Area 7 at 109% of our budget goal (the next closest was at 100%). β€’ Tidewater Council lead the way among Councils in our budget goal category (the next closest Council was at 88%). β€’ And Tidewater Council is second overall in the Southern region. For those of you who attended our FOS celebration just a few weeks back, we predicted good things in the June report – and here it is. We are also at 100% of staff making a FOS contribution ,and 99% of our Board has done so as well. We continue to steam toward our stretch goal and are about 93% of the way there. All this was achieved in the environment and with our breakfast postponed. These positive results show support in our community for the Scouting program. It is also the result of the hard work of a large team. I continue to thank each one of them for making a donation, hosting socials, participating in phone-a-thons, meeting with businesses, recruiting others to help in the campaign, and keeping a positive attitude and high energy. Let's get to that stretch goal! John Scheib 2020 FOS Campaign Chairman
Pipsico's web site says all summer camps have been cancelled? They just posted last week that they have permission to be open. No one has contacted us saying they are cancelled even though we are paid in full. How do we get refunds now and will you consider opening back up the registration for virtual camp? I would have registered my scout if I had known "real" camp was cancelled but I was assured they would be open.
I am looking for 1 unit to volunteer some time (if their Chartering Organization allows) to conduct a service project... please message me if your unit is interested... The work is at Marian Manor.
