🚨 GOP Fights AGAINST DOUBLE TAXATION with MILEAGE TAX

Republicans called out Democrats’ false claim that drivers won’t pay the new MILEAGE TAX on top of the gas tax.

We asked for a vote of a constitutional measure to prevent the Legislature from EVER double taxing us. 💰

How did super majority Democrats respond?

They REFUSED.

The truth is they don’t want to protect taxpayers.

Enough is enough! 🚨

MILEAGE TAX update:
So many of you will be impacted by the mileage tax.

I want to make sure you know what the proposed legislation says.

It directs a full-scale plan “to consolidate and prepare research and recommendations related to a road user charge or a MILEAGE-BASED FEE system.”

In Sacramento, the super majority party doesn’t study what it plans to KILL.

Sacramento studies what it plans to EXECUTE.

My Republican colleagues and I are standing firm to make life in California affordable!

📣 Californians cannot afford a MILEAGE TAX.

I have traveled over 1,000 miles in the last 48 hours. The expensive trip would have been much more expensive if we had to pay the MILEAGE TAX.

But it is not just me. It will hurt farmers, commuters and moms driving kids to school especially those living in rural areas.

Everything is already so expensive. It is time for us to step us and fight back.

Taxpayers are not an ATM.
