Waban Improvement Society A resource for all who live and work in Waban, Newton, Massachusetts

Established in 1889, the Waban Improvement Society is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization whose membership comprises all people who live and/or work in Waban, Massachusetts. The Society promotes any activity intended to improve Waban and fosters a sense of community for those who live and work here.

Hopefully they'll be some more pictures coming in from the Waban lights and sing a long. We had the Newton Ukulele Orchestra lead us in some favorites and Mayor Ruthanne Fuller counted us down as she has done every year. Next year, we will have the honor of hosting Mayor Marc Laredo. He was in attendance and is looking forward to it again.
