✨We're hiring! ✨We need one more Park Operator to be based at San Josef Bay for the summer. ☀Life isn't always a beach, but this role will take you to the beach daily! ⛱

⏰June 12 is the ideal start date - working on an averaging agreement for the summer
🥾Trail and parks infrastructure maintenance
🪧Park user engagement - collecting fees and providing trail and park information
⛺Accommodation provided while on and off shift

❌🔥Coastal Fire Centre category 1 campfire prohibition comes into effect Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 12pm and is in effect until October 31, 2026.🔥❌

We know, we know, it is only May and beach fires elevate your camping experience. There are still lots of ways to enjoy the park, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

The prohibition includes all campfires, as well as the following activities and devices:
❌Sky lanterns
❌Binary exploding targets
❌Fireworks
❌Burn barrels or burn cages
❌Air curtain burners
❌Carbonizers
❌Controlled air incinerators
❌Wood-fire hot tubs, pizza ovens, and other wood-fired devices (unless vented through a building flue)

During this time, CSA or ULC-certified outdoor stoves with a flame height of less than 15cms are still permitted. These include:
✅Propane campfires
✅Camp stoves using gas or briquettes
✅Gas or briquette BBQs
✅Pizza ovens fueled with gas or briquettes
