Activated 1 February 1957 at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. Consolidated 1 July 1963 with the 25th Infantry Division Band (activated 21 January 1944), and consolidated unit reorganized and redesignated as Headquarters, Headquarters and Band, 25th Infantry Division Support Command. Reorganized and redesignated 15 November 1967 as Headquarters, Headquarters Company and Band, 25th Infantry Division Support Command. Reorganized and redesignated 5 February 1972 as Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 25th Infantry Division Support Command (band element concurrently withdrawn from Headquarters, Headquarters Company and Band, 25th Infantry Division Support Command, and assigned to the 25th Adjutant General Company-hereafter separate lineage). Reorganized and redisignated 30 June 2015 as the 25th Sustainment Brigade. Organic elements concurrently constituted and activated. The 25th Sustainment Brigade awards include; two Meritorious Unit Commendations for Vietnam in 1966 and 1970, two Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm during 1966-1970, and the Republic of Vietnam Civil Action Honor Medal (First Class) 1966-1970.
