Activated 1 February 1957 at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. Consolidated 1 July 1963 with the 25th Infantry Division Band (activated 21 January 1944), and consolidated unit reorganized and redesignated as Headquarters, Headquarters and Band, 25th Infantry Division Support Command. Reorganized and redesignated 15 November 1967 as Headquarters, Headquarters Company and Band, 25th Infantry Division Support Command. Reorganized and redesignated 5 February 1972 as Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 25th Infantry Division Support Command (band element concurrently withdrawn from Headquarters, Headquarters Company and Band, 25th Infantry Division Support Command, and assigned to the 25th Adjutant General Company-hereafter separate lineage). Reorganized and redisignated 30 June 2015 as the 25th Sustainment Brigade. Organic elements concurrently constituted and activated. The 25th Sustainment Brigade awards include; two Meritorious Unit Commendations for Vietnam in 1966 and 1970, two Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm during 1966-1970, and the Republic of Vietnam Civil Action Honor Medal (First Class) 1966-1970.

OWN THE NIGHT is a 42A, Human Resource Specialist, focused combat simulated environment executed after midnight. It reinforces training and proficiency in warrior tasks and battle drills and their mission essential tasks under stressful situations. U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the 25th Division Sustainment Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, conduct live Sling Load operations on a UH-60 Black Hawk during a Sling Load Inspector certification course on Wheeler Army Airfield, Hawaii. This operation is the final stage of the course that certifies Soldiers to inspect and rig vehicles, equipment, and supplies for helicopter transport. U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the 25th Division Sustainment Brigade and 25th Infantry Division perform port operations and maintenance onto a United States Naval Ship (USNS) Cape Horn, in support of Operation Pathways 26 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Port, Hawaii, Feb. 13, 2026. The USNS Cape Horn is a strategic sealift vessel designed for rapid deployment of U.S. military gear, vehicles, and personnel in support of various exercises and deployments. This vessel loading operation supports Operation Pathways 26 and ensures the upcoming multinational exercises, Salaknib 26 and Balikatan 26, are mission capable to strengthen interoperability and deterrence throughout the Indo-Pacific region.
