HomeFront Resource Center

The HomeFront Resource Center (HRC) provides services to veterans, service-members and their families from across Minnesota. Our core functions are to be the voice, to educate and to connect community support for our service members, veterans and their families. HRC is a non-profit recognized by the Federal Government and the State of Minnesota.

Voice:

· Public communication to increase community understanding of veteran issues;

· Advocacy for and with service members, veterans and their families at the federal, state and local level;

· Promote military related activities (ceremonies, etc.,) to increase awareness within the greater public of the service and vital role the military family plays in our democracy.

Education:

· Convene and present workshops, forums, plays, community discussions, and other events to enhance community knowledge and support of service members, veterans and their families;

· Recognize and celebrate efforts and achievements;

· Enhance leadership development;

Connection:

· Improve the lives and meet the needs of service members, veterans, and their families through creating seamless connections and assisting and following up with navigating local, state and federal resources;

· Advocate for and with service members, veterans and their families encouraging self-reliance and resilience;

· Increase collaboration, reduce duplication and streamline access to resources.
