Welcome to The Link! A free, all electric transport service around Wakefield and Reading, plus Leahy and Wi******er Hospital. Thanks to Mass DOT funding, we have this service starting tomorrow, for two years! Please see the flyer below for all details. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to get this service for us. Beautiful & well attended ribbon cutting today. I can't wait to use it!

Thank you organizers, volunteers, sponsors and musicians for an incredible porchfest! Wakefield Porchfest you knocked it out of the park! We rode our bikes around to see various acts, & it seemed like the whole town was on the move, enjoying the beautiful weather and music. Thanks again and see you next year!

The state primary is only 6 days away (Sept. 1). Please make your plan to vote- the Wakefield Town Clerk is open for in-person early voting this week daily from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm; you can drop your mail-in ballot in the special mailbox outside town hall; or you can vote in person at the Galvin auditorium on Tuesday, Sept. 1 from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. In these local elections, every vote really counts, and there are many contested offices in this race. Make your plan and let your voice be heard!

Hi everyone! I hope you are enjoying this beautiful day. The September 1 primary is only 16 days away. There are a lot of races, some quieter than others. I want to mention the race for Middlesex County District Attorney, and urge you to support David Solet. David is a career prosecutor (24+ years), the former head of the cold case unit, and an outstanding victim advocate. When I served on grand jury last year, I was blown away at his talent & commitment. As I've learned more about him during the campaign, I am convinced he would be a great DA. hi folks! I am happy to support Kate Lipper-Garabedian for Mass State Senate. She is holding a Wakefield kick off party next Wednesday at Harringtons, from 6-7:30 pm. I hope you can join and learn about her candidacy. And don't forget: voting is Sept. 1, but early and mail in voting will start much sooner. Take care!

A perfect Wakefield Saturday yesterday! Happy to help State Representative Kate Lipper-Garabedian get the word out about her campaign (primary is 9/1, please consider early or mail in voting!); the always festive Wakefield Farmers Market, with special guests the Living Healthy fair; then the Firebird Pops Orchestra at the Galvin. I can't think of better ways to spend such a beautiful summer day.

our very own professional pops orchestra, Firebird Pops Orchestra, is performing on Saturday night, 7/25, at 8 pm, in the Galvin auditorium. The theme is An Evening at the POPera- a combo of vocal opera and Broadway pieces. The John Williams concert last month was amazing- please join me to support this tremendous local gem!
