My tenure as Fire Commissioner has taught me that the role entails much more than familiarity with firefighting. It requires a diverse skill set that includes financial acumen, a deep comprehension of economics, outstanding business leadership, governance expertise, and an unwavering duty and commitment to honesty, integrity, and fairness. These qualities are crucial for anyone entrusted with the responsibility of leading and managing a significant public safety agency. These are the qualities I bring to this position. Outside of my years of service with the Wantagh Fire Department, I have over two decades of leadership experience, encompassing Information Technology and Business leadership expertise.

I am thrilled to say that my time as Fire Commissioner has been marked by incredible achievements that have significantly impacted our community's safety. None more exciting than securing a substantial $650,000 grant from FEMA and NYS to acquire a state-of-the-art Fire/Rescue Boat. This new platform replaces our aging one, allowing us to respond swiftly and safely to incidents and protect our waterways like never before. I am excited to see all the amazing things we can accomplish with this powerful new tool in our arsenal!

I am honored to announce my candidacy for re-election as Commissioner of the Wantagh Fire District. Over the past six years, I have had the privilege of serving our community in this role. My journey as a public servant has been shaped by over two decades of leadership experience, encompassing Information Technology and Business leadership expertise.

Alongside my professional commitment, I have also dedicated myself to proudly serving as a volunteer firefighter and advanced EMT for over 18 years with the Wantagh Fire Department. I have held the esteemed positions of Lieutenant and Captain at Station 3 in Seaford Harbor. I believe that my diverse background uniquely qualifies me to be a passionate advocate for the safety and welfare of our community.
