DIBBS registration process changed. Effective July 19, 2018, new DIBBS registrants will be subject to a two-step authentication process. . Currently DLA only validate the e-mail address where a PIN is sent to complete their registration. After the 19th, a new “Physical Address Verification” process will be implemented. An actual post card will be mailed via U.S. mail to the address of record in SAM. This post card will contain a PIN that once received, is used to complete their DIBBS registration. You will not be able to complete their registration or quote until that time. If you do not receive the post card, there is an opportunity to request a 2nd post card. After that, you will have to contact the Manual Vetting Team at [email protected] to allow them to complete their registration.

Any questions from the supplier community should be directed to the DIBBS helpdesk at [email protected]. Also contact your local PTAC for assistance.

Hurricane Harvey Disaster Contracting - Critical Things to Know - APTAC - Association of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers

Hurricane Assistance - If you can assist with clean up and/or restoration and do not have a CAGE code, please contact PTAC. We can assist you in the expediting of this process. This process is legitimate and at no cost.
But be aware of FEMA scams
These hurricanes are likely be used as an excuse to circulate false information by companies peddling "priority vendor status" - for a hefty fee, of course - promising the "opportunity to help your community for disaster relief efforts and make profits at the same time." Services offered in such solicitations often carry a price tag of hundreds or even thousands of dollars for a variety of services, including a "priority listing." Be advised: FEMA does NOT have a "priority vendor" program. Please read more info on registering as a FEMA contractor at: http://www.aptac-us.org/hurricane-harvey-disaster-contracting-critical-things-to-know/

The devastation being wrought by Hurricane Harvey is creating a tremendous need for emergency services, likely resulting in contracting opportunities with

Soldiers of the 4th Infantry Division and 10th Special Forces Group exercised the limits of the demonstrator to evaluate the #ZH2's off-road capabilities, power (torque) responsiveness, silent mobility, high exportable power, and fuel cell technology. Feedback on the valuable capabilities will help to provide effective and efficient mission accomplishment by the Warfighter. Wise words from NCMA

NCMA — the National Contract Management Association — is the world’s leading resource for procurement and contract management professionals, and for the past 57+ years the organization has been dedicated to the professional growth and educational advancement of procurement and acquisition personnel worldwide. Here’s what NCMA said about PTAC:
