Here's to 2026! The TCHS team is excited to launch America250 programming, marking the 250th anniversary of the United States, in collaboration with our friends at the America 250-Ohio Commission, Ohio Goes to the Movies, and the Trumbull County Tourism Bureau, along with other local historical societies, historic sites, and museums.
This milestone anniversary gives us an opportunity to reflect on our shared history — the people, places, and stories that have shaped our nation and our local communities. It’s also a chance to think about how history connects us today and inspires the generations to come.

We’re excited to begin rolling out new initiatives, including a history passport program, a Next250 program with local school districts, and other engaging ways to explore Trumbull County’s role in the American story. There’s much more to come — stay tuned!
