Starting in 2001 a group of golf enthusiasts from the small town of Ellendale ND, took upon themselves to travel the region seeking out unique and challenging golf experiences. Each year this group completes a multi-day tour of courses in a small section of the midwest.

Thursday starts at the beautiful Painted Woods Golf Course south of Washburn. We played this course during GAGA IX in 2010, but is was a 9 hole course then. In 2014, it expanded to 18 holes, and we have wanted to come back here to try the new layout out. Now we have a chance!!
Here is a view from the #8 teebox. #8 is a 137 yd. Par 3, with a 50 foot drop to the putting surface. Fun!
