** BEIGENTS AND BREW **
With over 1,600 locations throughout the country, the Destin, Florida founded cafe shop has opened up shop in about 20 minutes away from me & I wanted to find out more about it. It’s pre-dominant in the Southeast but it has been expanding to the North and into the Mid-West. When you enter the place, you feel this clean atmosphere with the smell of fresh dough being fried. It’s a delicious smell and I couldn’t wait to have one. I got to the counter and ordered a 4 pack with buttercream sauce (based on the recommendation from the guy who was serving me), along with an iced tea.
I got a table and sat down to wait for my name to be called. I was looking around and I just felt relaxed. The restaurant itself is definitely instagrammable, which a lot of places are doing to retain customers. You can take cute pictures with your food and be able to enjoy a mirror selfie on the wall of mirrors. As far as the food itself goes, as the dude from the Mets (I know that I made this reference & no, the world isn’t going to end) sang OH MY GOD. They definitely cook them fresh, and immediately having them as soon as they were cooked was delicious (that’s an understatement). I regretted not getting the 12 pack, but the 4 was just right to try it out. Then you add the cool dipping sauce and it was amazing.
Overall, the experience at Beignets and Brew is the feel of the small lounge with a touch of a cozy cafe in France. It gives a sense of relaxation, brightness, and just wanting to hang out with friends. If there is one near you, I would definitely recommend going to it.

** WELCOME TO CHRISTOPHER NEWPORT UNIVERSITY **
Located in Newport News, Virginia and founded in 1960 as Christopher Newport College, an extension school of the College of William and Mary for mid-career working professionals, members of the military, and non-traditional students in and around the Newport News area of the Hampton Roads region. The university has since expanded into a residential college for traditional students.vIt is named after Christopher Newport, captain of one of the ships which carried settlers of Jamestown, the first permanent English settlement in North America. It’s a Division III school with over 4500 students enrolled in 2024. The school is known for biology, business, psychology, and political science.
I ended up visiting during the summer when school was out to check out the Mary M. Torggler Fine Arts Center and its beautiful lobby, along with some of their art galleries. I ended up hanging out & relaxed before heading back to the train station to go back to Washington DC. It definitely looked nice, I didn’t really tour the college to be honest. However, it looked like a nice place to go to school. There were some college tours there and I’m hoping that they went there.

It’s tough to say that I don’t think about external judgment from others because I definitely do and it has hindered me at times. You don’t realize how paralyzing embarrassment is until you go through it yourself. It really does trigger your deepest emotions that I’m still trying to get through to this day, but it’s something that I need to go through in a healthy way. I think everyone should go through to help them grow & heal.

** 5 CAMERAS THAT I USE IN MY CONTENT CREATION **
As a photographer/videographer/content creator, my camera bag has different tools that I can use to achieve the shot that I want. ** MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL IN MUSIC CITY **
Recently, I went to First Horizon Park in Nashville, TN to watch the Nashville Sounds (Triple A Affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers) go against the Gwinnett Stripers (Triple A Affiliate of the Atlanta Braves). The Sounds won that game 12-5. Formerly known as “First Tennessee Park”, the ballpark was constructed in January 2014. It was designed by Populous, who have designed so many other stadiums all around the world. The ballpark itself opened in April 2015 to a sold-out crowd of over 15,000 people. First Horizon Park is located in the Germantown District in North Nashville. 
The ballpark is in a great part of town and it is beautifully constructed. The sun hit the grass at just the right time to provide an absolute gorgeous sunset. As a staple of the Populous stadiums, you can have a 360-degree game viewing experience; spacious concourses all within view of the on-field action; unique group outing spaces; an expansive club level with suites; LED and ribbon boards; and of course - the signature guitar scoreboard over in right field, bigger and brighter than ever with over 860 32” flat panel televisions to fill the area of the video display. It’s definitely one of the most unique video walls that I’ve ever seen, but it fits Nashville’s personality & flavor.
I went with my friend Chris and we had a blast. It was such a relaxing time and we got to catch up. Plus also see the massive amounts of advertisements that they had during the game, along with Chris’s numerous references to the movie “Josie & the Pussycats”. The ballpark fits the standard baseball stadium in a city, where it’s a gathering place for the community. It’s cozy and intimate. Tickets are relatively cheap for games and it’s always fun to bring the kids. They have family activities throughout the park to keep them entertained. Overall, I would come here for a game again. It was a great time with Chris, where I don’t see him often and we got to catch up in a place where he knows that I love being at.
