Democrats are lying to the American people when they claim there’s no issue at the southern border. I’ve been to the border and I’ve seen the illegal immigration crisis caused by the Left’s open-border policies. We need to fully fund all effective border enforcement strategies.

Fargo-Moorhead Area Diversion Project

The FM Area Diversion Project will provide permanent and reliable flood protection to an estimated 230,000 residents of the Fargo-Moorhead area. It was great to visit the area last week to see the project, which has been more than a decade in the making.

Extreme Drought Impacting Farmers

Farmers have been hit hard by the extreme drought, and I saw it firsthand at Four Hill Farms, Inc. near Barnesville today.

Drought Conditions in Minnesota

Most of Minnesota is in an extreme drought and our farmers are facing a tremendous hardship. There are reports that herd culling is already being done around the region due to a lack of quality feed, and farmers will soon be forced to make impossible decisions regarding their crops and livestock. I have asked the Administration to allow emergency haying and grazing on CRP lands now, but that request was met with silence. If the drought continues to worsen – and if the Administration does not act – the impacts on our entire economy will be far reaching. In the meantime, I stand ready to assist my constituents on navigating these challenges and working toward a quick recovery. https://fischbach.house.gov/drought
