MOSCDC members, we have a date secured for the Decorating the Commandants’ home, AND the White House tour! The White House holiday tour registration opens Oct 6th at 6pm! Yes, that’s soon! 😄 The White House tour will either be on December 13th OR the 20th, so check your calendars to keep those dates open. 🗓️
This is a members only event, and space is limited!

Recently we lost a longtime member of MOSCDC, Mrs. Pat Kelly. Some of you may have known her…

"Dearest friends and relatives of Patricia Kelly,

I want to share with you some arrangements for my mother’s funeral as well as an obituary that I wrote about her life.

Mom’s funeral will take place on Friday, May 13, 2022, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 5121 Woodland Way (corner of Braddock Rd), Annandale, Va. 22003. We will begin with a wake in the church at 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at 11:30 a.m. The church’s entrance is being remodeled, so please follow signs to the side doors.

Mom will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery at a date to be determined in the same plot as my father. The cemetery has a back-log of 6 months or more for burials of retired military. I’ll circulate details as soon as I know them.

Thanks again to everyone for all of your support during this difficult time. Knowing you are there has been a great source of consolation.
